Anxious to visit, she explores the neglected manor and discovers a peculiar necklace in an antique wardrobe. When she slips it over her head, she is transported to the year 1829 where she visits with her fascinating ancestors and meets a famous author.

When the stone in the necklace is damaged, Paisley regretfully accepts the experience as an illogical fluke and sees no reason to share her secret with her mum or new boyfriend, Finlay. But questions continue to swirl in Paisley’s mind. How had the impossible happened? Could it happen again?
